Kevin Thomas Barger began his legal career with the prestigious international law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLC in 2009, where his practice focused primarily on general litigation, securities litigation, business litigation, and white-collar litigation matters. While at Skadden, Kevin served as a trial team member on a number of high-profile litigation matters, including serving as the sole junior associate on the trial team for Barry Bonds in his 2011 case facing allegations of obstruction of justice. 

Kevin eventually left Skadden to obtain more hands-on litigation experience at boutique and midsize firms, first at Glynn & Finley, LLP, where he primarily represented corporate clients on commercial litigation, business litigation, environment, employment, and product liability matters, and then at Dehay & Ellison, L.L.P, where he represented corporate clients in commercial litigation, toxic tort, and product liability matters.

In 2019, Kevin joined his father, Thomas J. Barger, an established and well-respected estate planning attorney, where he began his practice in estate planning, probate and trust administration matters. After his father retired in 2021, Kevin took over the practice and added trust and estate litigation matters to his repertoire. 

 

In addition to his professional and academic achievements, Kevin was a decorated amateur boxer throughout law school and continuing during his career as an attorney. Most notably, Kevin was a multiple time Golden Gloves Champion and won the Bronze Medal at the Olympic Trials in 2007, which earned him an offer to serve as an Olympic Alternate on Team USA for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympic Games. Kevin continues to box to this day, occasionally volunteering to train underprivileged youth at local boxing gyms.
